“I was always scared of Anu ji and Sunidhi ma’am”- Sreeram

Indian Idol 5 winner Sreeram is undoubtedly a great singer. But he always had a fear in his mind about his performance and also the comments from the judges.

Sreeram spoke, “I was really scared of Anu Ji and Sunidhi ji. Anu ji was always very straightforward. Whenever he liked a performance, he praised the contestant so much that he felt elated. But if anything went wrong, he actually scolded the contestants like a strict teacher. Whenever it was my turn, I was always worried about getting bad comments from Anuji and hence made sure that I gave a good performance.”

“I was also scared of Sunidhi Chauhan. She always hugged the contestants who sang very well. But unfortunately I never got that jadoo ki jhappi from her”, closed Sreeram.

Well, let us wait and watch who is lucky enough to get praised by Anu Malik and the lucky one to receive jadoo ki jhappi from Sunidhi Chauhan this season.

Kushal will come back again….

Indian Idol 6 audition was the only chance for Kushal Singh to live his dream. Following his family traditions, he was forced to enroll in Police force and he could see his future heading without any option in front of him. He had to give up his music for the family legacy. But he saw a ray of hope when Indian Idol team came for the auditions in Lucknow.

Kushal was picked from the Rajasthan Parade Grounds directly for the Lucknow auditions. He walked into the judges’ chamber with zest and hopes to give his singing the best shot. With full heart and zeal Kushal finally sang in front of the judges.

Waiting for the comments was his most crucial moment of life.

However, it seemed like the stage was not yet set for Kushal as the judges, with all due respect, had to say no to him. Kushal saw his dream crash in front of his eyes and his only chance getting slipped out of his hands.

He broke down and cried like a baby on his mom’s shoulders. But even under this emotional breakdown, Kushal left with his dream intact in his mind. He bid adieu to the venue with the hope of fulfilling his dream next year with a lot more preparation.

“Don’t be in a hurry” - Anu Malik

Hey Idols, after Salim, today we have Anu Malik giving you his tips  to be a good singer.

The versatile composer speaks, Do not be in a hurry for anything; for learning or earning the name and fame. You will achieve nothing if you are in a hurry, especially in music. I am learning even today, hence, you can be like me.”
“People used to tell me that I have done enough and I need to relax as I am hyper most of the time. I know that I have achieved awards like the Filmfare Awards and the National Award, and I have done more than 300 films in my career. But when I look back at the work done by our earlier composers, especially R. D. Burman, I feel they are far ahead and they have done the best work. Thus, I want to work more and learn more. So, my tip to you guys is that, do not be in a hurry to learn Music. Just keep learning and everything else will follow”, closes Anu Malik.
Anu Malik has indeed given a valuable message to the unstoppable youth.
