“Bhuvaneshwar and Aurangabad shocked me this time”- Salim Merchant

Sheer dedication, prolonged practice and matured singing; Indian Idol 6 is just about singing and better singing.

Delhi, Rajasthan, Kolkata, Bhuvaneshwar and the list goes on. Judges traveled different places to choose the finest out of the fine. Singers from various corners of India took judges for a melodic ride in the last two weeks on Indian Idol.
After Delhi and Kolkata, the mentors will now head to Mumbai this week to find their best singers.

Salim spoke about his experiences during auditions, “We have travelled to different zones this time like Aurangabad, Bhuvaneshwar, Rajasthan, Rajkot, Jaipur, and Kolkata wherein we got unmatched talents.”

“But the cities which really shocked me this time were Aurangabad and Bhuvaneshwar. We never got singers from these cities earlier and I really wonder why. Also the level is so high this season that the show will be more popular because of the talent. I am sure that you all will be surprised to see the amount of talent we found this time”, added Salim.
Watch Salim along with Sunidhi and Anu at the Mumbai auditions this Friday at 8:30 pm on Indian Idol 6.
